IEEE IV Mentoring Meet


Information for the Mentor session at the IEEE IV Symposium

Date/Time: Monday, June 22, 3:30–5:30 PM ET

Location: Ambassador Room, Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center

Description: This two-hour roundtable brings students and young professionals together with experienced leaders from academia and industry for informal conversations about research, careers, and professional development in intelligent vehicles. Mentors include Lingxi Li (Purdue University), Chen Tang (UCLA), Stephany Berrio Perez (University of Queensland), Can Cui (Bosch Center for AI), Arnaud de La Fortelle (Heex Technologies), and Howie Sun (Laplace Intelligence). All students and young professionals are welcome; registration isn’t required but is encouraged.

Location: Five Iron Golf, 600 W Lafayette Blvd, Detroit

Description: Step away from the technical sessions for a relaxed evening of networking with peers. The event features golf simulators with real-time shot tracking, Detroit-style mini bowling, light food (pizza, boneless wings, an assorted cookie platter, with a vegan option available), and a full bar — every attendee gets two complimentary drink tickets at check-in.
