The IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV)

The IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium is a premier forum sponsored by the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS). Researchers, engineers, practitioners, and students from industry, universities, and government agencies are invited to present their latest work and to discuss research and applications for Intelligent Vehicles and Vehicle-Infrastructure Cooperation. The conference offers technical sessions, workshops, poster sessions, exhibitions, and more.

All accepted papers will be included in the proceedings at IEEE Xplore.

Submissions open: August 1, 2025
Submissions deadline: November 15, 2025
Notification date: January 15, 2026
Final submission: January 30, 2026

    🚨 Deadline Extension – IEEE IV 2026 
    The submission deadline for IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV 2026) has been extended to 15 November 2025 (notifications: 15 January 2026).
    This one-time adjustment was made in response to community feedback, ensuring authors have enough time to prepare quality submissions.
    Starting with IV 2027, the submission timeline will return to the fixed 1 October deadline.
